Nooka does such good work. Clean lines, crazy colors. I love it. They just dropped their summer collection and per usual, I wouldn’t mind wearing every piece at the same time like a store mannequin. Live mannequins! That’s a genius idea! But only if I’m the mannequin. And I get to keep all of the merchandise I model. Those are my terms, I’ll be expecting your call.

All of their collaboration watches are crazy but the Supremebeing x Nooka collabo watch is insane. For $275 I need to make this live mannequin thing happen. Or get a sugar daddy.* Available at Nooka

dabsmyla

Who doesn’t enjoy a love story? Especially one that involves spray paint and sneakers! Dabs and Myla are two Melbourne born artists who fell in love at art school and eventually moved to the States to make me rather jealous. Altogether now: Awwwwwww. Everything about these two is fresh. Down to the fact that they collaborate on every piece they do, without ripping each others faces off like Jon & Kate. Peep the Sneaker Freaker interview where the pair admit their love for creating one of a kind customized shoes and think “nothing tops off a painting like a great pair of shoes.” My heroes. The founders of Per Square Metre Gallery are about to blow up and before it happens I want them to paint all my white on white kicks. Because I’ve always thought they were the perfect canvases. And luckily I knew my stick figures would not do them justice. I knew I was holding out for a reason.

Watch their work from the 2009 Wango Tango Festival event in May. Ridiculous.

Yabba dabba doooo! Nike just clubbed the competition with these joints. People are gonna go ape-shit! These are rock solid! Ok…I’m out of caveman puns. These new Nike high-tops are inspired by the classic cartoon, The Flintstones and I support this movement. You cannot go wrong emulating a cartoon. I mean, when I dressed up as Tweety bird for my job interview the woman was so impressed she got me my very own car home. I did have to sit in the backseat in cuffs and he did mistake the police station for my house, but it’s the thought that counts. C’mon, who didn’t love The Flintstones? I even loved The Flintstones movie with Rosie O’Donnell in it. Hell, I even loved The Flintstones vitamins. I took those vitamins like they were pain killers and I was a Hollywood scarlet. My folic acid was through the roof people.

The Dino colorway reigns supreme in my book, for those of you aiming to woo me, and the bone lettering on the heel makes me want to club someone to death and drag them back to my cave and make them into stew. Because I’m pretty sure that’s how cavemen roll.
