Nothing like controlling your soundtrack without icicle hands.

I could lie and say that this is perfect because I’m all about sustainable works of genius, but I’m just going to go ahead and be honest. The truth shall set me free or something. I’m poor…because I spend all my money on sneakers, and I spend a good amount of my workday watching videos on my IPhone. I’m very busy. Normally I just have it posted on my cookie monster plushie (story for another time…), but now I have a designated holder. AND a new project.  Nicely done Julien.

I have a thing for turntables. They make me wanna dance. This $9500 turntable makes me want to cry. Because I can’t afford it. But at least its pretty to look at.

qlocktwo

I have a thing for clocks. Maybe its because I’m always late. It’s not my fault; I’m on CP time. Anyway, the folks at Qlocktwo have provided me oodles of entertainment while I dress frantically for my appointments. And for those of you who can’t tell time, you have found yourself an ally! Those of you who can’t read however have found an enemy. You can’t please everyone. And not to worry if your Dutch Aunt loves her some clocks because these lovely timepieces come in 6 different languages. There’s even an IPhone application for those of you feeling really fanatic. Or those of us who can’t afford the $1261 USD that the real clock costs.

SIGG_Cafe Press

We’ve all heard the spiel on the deathly death germs that leach to your plastic water bottles, not to mention the global warming monster that lurks in our dumps on account of the million years it takes for plastic to decompose. But fear not! Café Press has taken the, oh so lovely SIGG bottles that have turned into the new generic IPodlike accessory and given you the paintbrush. For $27.99 for a liter bottle you can add whatever you want; your favorite pics, your raison d’être, maybe even your food shopping list. Whatever floats your boat! Well…I wouldn’t throw any slurs or death threats on there. People at the gym will likely call the proper authorities, you weirdo.

He lives in a pineapple under the sea! And I happen to be super jealous. For one, I happen to think pineapples are delicious. And secondly, I always thought I was the personification of Ariel. Sadly, my dream is dead, as I cannot breathe underwater. My apologies to the lifeguards at Water Country; that was my bad. Anyway, Nooka, my dearest watch brand has given me a bit of solace with yet another ridiculous collabo to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the cartoon. For now, these bad boys can only be picked up at the San Diego Comic Con, which opened Thursday. So if you have a secret obsession with graphic novels I will tell no one. Provided I get a lovely gift which helps me get places on time.

Summer Summer Summertiiiime! Linda Farrows’s Spring/Summer collection is here to save you from those blinding global warming rays. Well, save your eyes at least. You should probably buy a spacesuit or something to ward against the other risks. Unless you live in New England. Because Mother Nature has decided that we deserve to drown with Noah and his arc nowhere in sight. When the storm has passed and the sun finally comes out to play, you can be prepared to ball hard with these. I’m cool. I’ve been rocking t-shirts and flip-flops since the beginning of June, because weather can’t stop my summer swagger. Plus, I enjoy sick days. Cop a pair of these at oki-ni. I’m a fan of the orange ones. And I happen to think Fourth of July gifts are swell. God bless America.

Ms. Farrow lined up some heavy hitters for this collection including my personal favorites; Raf Simons and Jeremy Scott. Get it.

Nooka does such good work. Clean lines, crazy colors. I love it. They just dropped their summer collection and per usual, I wouldn’t mind wearing every piece at the same time like a store mannequin. Live mannequins! That’s a genius idea! But only if I’m the mannequin. And I get to keep all of the merchandise I model. Those are my terms, I’ll be expecting your call.

All of their collaboration watches are crazy but the Supremebeing x Nooka collabo watch is insane. For $275 I need to make this live mannequin thing happen. Or get a sugar daddy.* Available at Nooka
