I’m a fan of all things felt. Especially since I haven’t worn it since my ill-fated attempt at fall fashion (not as long ago as you may hope). Note to self: felt is very itchy on bare skin and may cause others to believe you have come into contact with poison ivy or mental disorder. Lesson learned. But these look swell. And I’m pretty sure socks would solve those pesky scratching issues. Nicely done Converse. I like where your heads at.

Anyone who knows me will tell you I love Christmas. LOVE it. I love snow, I love pinecones, I love Nat King Cole. I’ve never had the pleasure, but I’m pretty sure I’d even love chestnuts roasting on an open fire. It’s kind of a problem. Which might explain why these are screaming out “CANDY CANES” to me. I tend to get into the Christmas spirit very early. I let the snow prepare for me. So Ian Ginoza, the genius behind Kicks Hawaii has decided that he would like to be my bestie. I know this because he keeps coming up with ridiculous designs and dropping them at stores near me. Aloha Ian.

Wait…did the…where’s the…but how do you…? Now that is an MJ tribute! I’m not even going to try to figure these out. Kind of like Michael; a genius in his own reality. I’m just going to kick back and admire their greatness. New York based artist, Loren Kulesus did work on these concept shoes, the “Moonwalk Chucks” for Converse.
